Vintage Fur

Hello Lychees! Lately, it's been super cold here in Southern California, so I decided to pull out my vintage fur coat! It was originally my mom's but she gave it to me since she hardly ever wears it. It's just as fluffy and warm as it looks, and I'm so happy I can finally put it to use since the weather has cooled down so much. To keep the outfit simple, I've paired the coat with a pair of paneled black leather leggings from Zara, along with my favorite black ankle boots which are also from Zara. By now, most of you have all seen this clear bag I am wearing. A while back, the strap that came with it broke off, but luckily I was able to replace it with a strap I found on a bag in my closet. Hope you all are having a lovely weekend and staying warm!

Mom Jeans

After I learned to drive in high school, thrifting became a regular part of my weekly routine. Discovering all the thrift shops in my city was a major goal of mine. Once I moved away to college, I stopped thrifting regularly. However, whenever I return home, I always make an effort to check out my favorite thrift shops. In my search for an awesome pair of high waisted mom jeans, I decided to make a stop at my favorite thrift store down the street from the high school I attended. After searching through several racks of women's jeans, I finally came upon the ones I am wearing for about $5. Styling mom jeans can be a bit challenging to get them to look just right, but I found that pairing them with a cropped top works well. Besides, they can be a great alternative to your everyday skinny jean!
